A year on from starting culinary school and I’m in the real world again.  As well as working on new recipes for the blog I’ve been earning my crust using the skills I learnt at school on a daily basis.  Private catering for clients half of the week and teaching adults with learning disabilities and primary school children the rest of the week.  It’s been an adjustment from nine months of education, now managing my own activities, creating recipes and designing lesson plans but I get to cook which makes most worries melt away so I’m really enjoying it and hope my students and clients are too!
